Engagement photos - Travis & Lindsey - Montana Wedding in April at the Grouse Mountain Lodge in Whitefish
What a wonderful and very fun couple! Thank you Travis and Lindsey for making this engagement shoot so full of adventure. I shot this couple up in Glacier National Park on one of the few sunny days we have had. It was perfect, they were full of energy and up for anything from snowball fights, railroad tracks, to snowshoeing. As you can see the love between these two shines through in every image. I am very anxious to photograph the wedding which will take place this April at the Grouse Mountain Lodge in Whitefish, Montana. We had the pleasure of recently putting our "Bellies & Babies" training From Sandy Puc to work for us. We recently attended PPA's annual Imaging USA tour where we had the great fortune of learning some great techniques from the very successful and talented Sam Puc of Colorado based "Expressions" studio http://www.expressionsphotos.com/home.shtml We want to thank our good friends.... The Lawrence family for sharing thier family and new little one with us to put our new system to the test. Take a peek at some of our favorites. Lodge at Whitefish Lake Wedding - Whitefish MT
Cameron & Stacia Fisher of Seattle WA, married February 28 , 2009 at the Lodge at Whitefish Lake http://www.lodgeatwhitefish.com/ . Hum - seems to be a trend here. If you have read any of this blog you already know what I think of the Lodge - we shoot there often & once again the host did not disappoint. The Fishers had a fantastic group from all over the world, here for the whole week & Whitefish - Flathead Valley did not disappoint. New Zealand - Australia - Luxembourg and Whitefish of course, were some of the areas represented at this grand event. It was an amazing blue bird day here in the valley and it came right at the perfect time. I must say that this celebration was not about the food or the cake or even the location. It was all about this new family that had been created on a global scale & how appreciative and blessed they all felt, but not only did they feel this - they showed it to one another. The pints were a flowing - everyone had their dancing shoes on and Mobil Beat kept them all on the floor. Good job Mates!!
Flathead Valley Wedding & Event Expo
On February 21st we had the opportunity to participate in the wedding show in Kalispell MT. Above is our booth. This was possibly the best wedding show the Flathead Valley has ever seen. We are very grateful to the board of directors and volunteers who are responsible for making it happen. I think it was a great benefit to move the show a bit later in the season. Lodge at Whitefish Lake Wedding - Whitefish MT
Cory & Jami Hoeger, married February 15, 2009 at the Foursquare church http:// http://www.whitefishfoursquare.org/ in Whitefish. Fortunately the weather cooperated for the ceremony day and the winter wonderland of Whitefish MT could be seen all around. It was obvious from the very beginning just how close this entire group was. From everyone pitching in to help & the genuine love and concern for this couple. The reception was hosted by the Lodge at Whitefish Lake http://lodgeatwhitefishlake.com/ , and as I have said about other events at the Lodge, a very good choice. The food,service and atmosphere here are consistently at a level of satisfaction.
